Dedication of Odda's Chapel in 1056
A short
commemoration service was held on Friday April 21st 2006 at 7pm
in Odda's Chapel, Deerhurst. The
original dedication took place on 12th April 1056 which was Friday after Easter, and it
was
considered that the Friday after Easter 2006 would be the
best date for the service of thanksgiving.
The event was followed by a glass of wine
and cheese.
